India’s bidman commercial sale of two commercial plots will be worth Rs 14,700 crore, the country’s auction agency has said.

The bid was completed on Monday.

The auction agency said the bids were submitted by the Bidman and Bidena Group, the joint venture of Bidena Ltd and Bidman Private Limited, and the land in which the plot was situated.

The land is a commercial plot in Mahatma Gandhi National Park in Karnataka, India.

The plot in question is situated at the boundary of a three-acre plot.

The agency said Bidena’s bid was for Rs 3,400 crore, while Bidena Private Limited’s bid for Rs 1,500 crore.

The two companies had also signed a deal for the acquisition of an 8.6-acre land in Karnagudi for a Rs 7,500-crore commercial plot, the auction agency added.

The company is owned by Indian conglomerate Aditya Birla.

The government, which announced the sale on Thursday, had asked the Bidena group to take care of the transaction and it has been allotted land for sale.

The Bidena groups bid was to be made public soon, the agency said.
