The new speaker line is aimed at those who prefer to pay for their lighting needs through an investment rather than buying a brand new set.
The speakers are expected to go on sale in the second half of 2017.
Salesforce also has a line of new consumer products called the “Luminous” line that includes a series of “lightbulbs,” which are the bulbs that you buy in the store.
This set is intended for use in small, portable installations.
The Luminous speakers will cost $500 or less.
But they are not expected to make it into the consumer market until 2019, and salesforce expects the company will have about 25 million Luminous speaker sets sold.
